Inga Drewniak is a Partner at Ryan & Drewniak, P.A., a law firm based in Annapolis, Maryland. Her practice is devoted to the defense of motor carriers and truck insurers, with a particular emphasis on litigation. She is admitted to practice in Maryland and handles cases throughout the State of Maryland in state and federal courts.
Ms. Drewniak is also actively involved in handling first response investigations (i.e., “legal triage”) for the numerous motor carriers that she represents. In addition, she advises motor carrier clients regarding matters outside Maryland, and is frequently called upon to supervise and/or coordinate litigation with local counsel in other venues.
Ms. Drewniak is a founding member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA), and served as an Officer and Director of the organization from 1993 until 2001. Ms. Drewniak also served as the Second President of TIDA from 1997-1999.
Ms. Drewniak was awarded the prestigous JOHN T. BIEZUP MEMORIAL SERVICE AWARD by the Trucking Industry Defense Association. This award is presented annually to one person who best exemplifies dedicated service, excellence and commitment to the defense of the trucking industry. Such traits were the hallmark of John T. Biezup's work for his clients. This coveted award has been bestowed upon outside counsel on only five prior occasions, as it more frequently is presented to insurance and motor carrier representatives.
Ms. Drewniak received her Bachelor’s Degree Summa Cum Laude from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland in 1985, and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland in 1988. She is a member of numerous bar associations and organizations that relate to servicing her trucking industry clients. Ms. Drewniak also serves on the board of various non-profit organizations, as well as the Peer Review Committee of the Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission.
